Hello Kaleidoscopes! Long time no see! We have a gig coming up this FRIDAY, SEPTEMBER 6TH at 6pm. This will be our first performance with our new cello player, and we can't wait for you to hear what we've been cooking up. 

The event is outdoors on the lawn, so bring a blanket or chair to sit on (maybe a picnic basket if you're feeling fancy) and come ready to enjoy a couple hours of beautiful music in a beautiful place! It's family friendly, FREE, and open to the public. Tips are, of course, welcome. We hope to see you there!

FRIDAY, JUNE 14TH

7:30pm for ArtsAlive at The Farmer's Market Pavilion in downtown Eugene, OR

ArtsAlive is a free community event full of dance, music, and improv. Show starts at 6:30, and Kaleidoscopic will be the closing band with special guest Ernie on flute. Our drummer John and saxophonists Steve will be contributing to the program, so we highly encourage you to come for the full show!

Kaleidoscopic once again had the amazing opportunity to play in Portland at Open Signal! You can watch the full performance here. Thank you to all the volunteers who helped make this possible, setting up mics and monitors and cameras, so we could look and sound our best. 

A one take live performance is never perfect, and we definitely have our fair share of mistakes; but overall we're proud of the performance that we put on. A lot of practice and hard work went into this set, and we hope it shows! 

Thanks to family and friends for all the help and support. Shout out to the rental car company and whoever canceled their rental car so we could get a mini van on such short notice. And a special nod of appreciation to the local thai food place for fueling us up before hand (and recognizing John and remembering his favorite secret menu order!). 

EVENT: NOVEMBER 10TH at ZAGWE'S

 

KALEIDOSCOPIC & THE GANJA MARINES PERFORMING AT ZAGWE'S 

Kaleidoscopic has a gig! We'll be splitting the night with The Ganja Maries on Friday, November 10th at Zagwe's Restaurant in the Whiteaker. Start time is 6-6:30pm and we'll be playing first for about an hour before The Ganja Marines. The stage is outdoors in the back with plenty of seating, so come eat some delicious Ethiopian food and listen to us play! 

We'll have Kalinda singing vocals and on the guitar and keys, Steve on saxophone, Milo on bass, and John on drums. Hope to see you there!

Hello, Everyone! We just shared the cable schedule for when you can livestream our program, but did you know that the cable studio, Open Signal, has a YouTube channel? Well, they do! And you don't have to wait to stream the program live, you can watch it right now! 

We performed 13 songs, 50 minutes of music, in a small air conditioned studio with beautiful lighting and an amazing crew. They were punctual and professional and made set-up and take-down a breeze. We're so grateful to them and their space for this amazing opportunity.

KALEIDOSCOPE will be on CABLE TV!

Exciting news! Last month we had the opportunity to go into a cable studio up in Portland and record a live set of music. And now, that 50 minute program is scheduled for Cable TV with its first viewing on September 14th! You can support us by streaming it live when it airs on their website. EVENT: JULY 14TH at 3RD & MONROE

 

Kaleidoscope has their first gig! 

We'll be performing 2 sets of original music starting 7 PM this coming FRIDAY, JULY 14th at 3rd & Monroe (formerly Alluvium) in the Whiteaker! 

This venue is first and foremost a place for community, so although tickets are $10, if you can't afford it we won't turn you away. Pay what you can, and we'll be happy to have you there with us to listen and experience the music.
